As part of our commitment to excellence, Eco Reco prioritizes not only the quality of our e-scooters, but also the comprehensive after-sales support we offer to our customers. For scooters under warranty, we provide these services at no additional cost, emphasizing our dedication to your satisfaction and peace of mind.

Coverage Overview:

This warranty specifically covers manufacturing defects in construction and mechanical components under normal use conditions for 18 months. For assistance, please contact us at support@recopev.com.

Warranty Specifics:

  • The warranty is automatically registered to the initial purchaser and is non-transferrable.
  • The warranty starts from the time of delivery.

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage:

Damages or malfunctions resulting from improper use are not covered, including but not limited to:
  • Overloading: Exceeding the scooter's rated capacity, causing undue strain on components.
  • Crash Damage: Any damages resulting from collisions, accidents, or crashes are not covered. This includes impacts with vehicles, obstacles, or falls that result in physical damage to the scooter.
  • Unauthorized Electrical Modifications: Modifying or replacing electrical components, including but not limited to the scooter's battery, motor, control unit, is strictly prohibited. Such unauthorized electrical modifications can lead to potential failures, safety risks
  • Incompatible Power Sources: Using chargers with unsuitable ratings, risking system damage.
  • Improper Maintenance: Neglecting regular checks or using incorrect tools, affecting scooter safety and function.
  • Ignoring Guidelines: Disregarding instructions on riding, safety, and use limitations provided in the user manual.
  • Water Damage: Damage caused by riding in conditions that expose the scooter to water beyond its design limitations, including submersion, riding through deep puddles, or exposure to heavy rain.
  • Exposure to Extreme Conditions: Damage caused by using or storing the scooter in extreme environmental conditions outside of the specified operating temperatures, or exposure to corrosive materials.
  • Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear of the scooter, including cosmetic issues such as paint scratches or fading.
  • Commercial/Competition Use: Using the scooter for intense commercial activities or competitive events.
  • Unauthorized Repairs: Attempting DIY repairs without professional expertise, risking further damage.
  • Unintended Use: Employing the scooter or its components in ways not intended by the manufacturer.

Claim Process:

Initiate claims with proof of purchase and evidence of the issue. We will assess and guide you through the necessary steps for repair or replacement. Shipping damage must be reported within 7 days of receipt.

Post-Warranty and Extended Support:

After the standard warranty period expires, we remain dedicated to your scooter's upkeep by offering free diagnostic services. Additionally, for parts other than the battery, we provide a generous 25% discount, reinforcing our Lifetime Service Commitment.

Warranty Policy on Shipping Costs:

General Terms: Under our warranty policy, customers are generally responsible for the shipping costs to and from our authorized service center for any repairs after the purchase. We recommend retaining the original packaging to ensure the safe and secure shipment of your product for any service needs.

90-Day Special Coverage: Recognizing the importance of reliability and customer satisfaction, we offer a special coverage for the first 90 days following your purchase. During this period, if your electric scooter experiences any issues directly related to the controller, motor, or battery due to manufacturing defects, we will cover all associated shipping costs. This means you will not be required to pay any shipping fees for repairs related to these specific components within the first 90 days.

To avail of this special coverage, please contact our customer support team immediately upon discovering any such issues. Our team will guide you through the process of obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide you with all necessary shipping instructions. Products shipped without a valid RMA number may not be accepted under this special coverage policy.

Legal Disclaimer and Warranty Limitations:

This warranty is the sole warranty provided by Eco Reco, superseding any other warranties, express or implied. Eco Reco's liability is limited to repairing or replacing parts as specified in this warranty and does not cover incidental or consequential damages such as property damage, loss of use, or economic losses.
 
Liability under this warranty is confined to the described repair or replacement of defective parts and excludes any other claims, whether based on contract, tort, or other legal theories. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
 
You have specific legal rights under this warranty, which may vary by state or jurisdiction. This warranty is governed by the laws of the state of purchase, with any legal action subject to jurisdiction in that state.

This warranty applies within the United States and may vary for products used or purchased outside of this territory.
